Art Business & Online Internet Marketing Help Can Be Affordable

Hi Everyone,

I have been out of action for some time and hence no posts. I have been busy on art and design projects and unfortunately all used up. Currently, I am working with graphic design media , creating digital art and working with some oils as well.

I prefer waterbased oils as they are odour free and less messy.

While working on designing and thinking about art projects, I have been investigating online businesses. The internet world of marketing and business is not an easy one to master and as relative newbie to internet marketing, I need professional help but at an affordable cost. When I have found a gem like this I like to pass it forward, as it were.

I have found an expert who REALLY knows what he is doing, who has helped me already, is a genuine coach who will be brutally honest with you and who's coaching is definitely affordable.

For those of you who are only interested in seriously making money from your art business or wish to learn how to develop successful businesses on line, then here is the link:

NEW DIGITAL ART & DESIGN

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while as I travelled half way around the world to New Zealand. I have been enjoying catching up on New Zealand , which you can learn more about at Contemporary New Zealand Art.

I'm sure at times we artists go through periods of creative frenzy and I have been experiencing this since my return. I seem to be having a digital art burst at present.

I welcome anyone's feedback on their favourite current New Zealand contemporary artists, as I wish to compile a list for research for an article. Your input would be valuable.

Thank you so much in advance,

Taking The Inner Artist Outside

Hello to all my readers,

On the weekend we did a bit of local touring by car. Of course I took my camera. If you're like me, you will see the artistic in many things around you.

Being an artist is something innate, I believe. You can learn techniques and master drawing but having the eyes of an artist to me, is another thing.

The eyes of an artist looks at the detail or can visualize beyond the image to the heart of the art. For instance, your inner artist immediately tells you, 'Yes, this is a good angle' or 'those colors are great together'.

Next time you are out and about, I challenge you to really look and see the art in the buildings, the landscape, how colors work together or contrast. If you think you have a good image, interesting angles or color sets, take a snap.

This image has been modified from a photo I took (from our moving car) of oil refineries. The angles turned out to be interesting and the shapes as well. I may use this image in future for a contemporary painting. Just to demonstrate, you can see below that I have modified it digitally to provide a different artistic aspect and style.

I use photos to paint from or gain ideas from. Ultimately I change and modify the image, particularly for abstract or contemporary themes.
